St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge Opens New Upscale Resale Boutique

Rosalie’s Boutique, St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge’s first upscale resale thrift store, opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 16.


Community supporters and local leaders attended the ribbon-cutting to celebrate Rosalie’s Boutique and its role in supporting St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge’s mission.


“As a councilwoman in District 7, I see the value of community supporting community. This event showcases that,” said Twahna P. Harris, Council Member, District 7. “St. Vincent de Paul is a beacon in our district and Baton Rouge, always doing phenomenal work.”


Attendees toured the new space, connected with staff and volunteers, and celebrated the boutique’s role in supporting St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge's work serving neighbors in need throughout the community. 


“Rosalie's, like our other thrift stores, aims to raise critical support for all our services. It is unique in reaching new community members and introducing them to St. Vincent de Paul,” said Sunnie Johnson-Lain, President and CEO. “We want everyone to know our mission and join our circle of support.”


Rosalie’s Boutique offers a thoughtfully curated collection of vintage and collectible apparel for men and women, distinctive home décor, and unique one-of-a-kind finds, with every purchase directly supporting essential services provided by St. Vincent de Paul of Baton


Rouge, including daily meals, clothing assistance, family shelter, and access to life-saving medications through the Community Pharmacy.
