St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge (SVDPBR) is proud to be recognized as a finalist in LWCC’s 2025 Holiday Giving Program, an initiative that highlights and supports Louisiana nonprofits making a meaningful difference in their communities.

As part of the program, LWCC, Louisiana’s largest workers’ compensation carrier, awarded a shared $20,000 donation to three nonprofits, chosen through agent nominations and public voting. SVDPBR was selected for its ongoing mission to provide essential services, housing assistance, and outreach to neighbors in need across the Greater Baton Rouge area.

“The record-breaking response to this year’s program shows the incredible generosity and support that exists across our state,” said Seth Irby, LWCC SVP, Chief Strategy Officer. “It’s inspiring to see the community rally behind organizations that are making a real impact in people’s lives.”

In 2025, more than 60 nominations were submitted by LWCC’s agent partners, the highest number in the program’s history. Public participation also reached new heights, with over 11,000 votes cast statewide to help determine how the donation would be allocated among the finalists.

SVDPBR is deeply grateful to LWCC, its agents, and everyone who voted and supported our work. This contribution will help us continue to feed, clothe, house, and heal our neighbors in need—ensuring dignity, compassion, and hope reach the most vulnerable in our community.
