This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Count Your Blessings supper. The annual event took place on Friday, March 14th, as "Count Your Blessings to Geaux" at Our Lady of Mercy. The drive-thru event was as enjoyable as ever. Chef John Folse, Bishop Michael Duca, Bishop Robert Muench, Father Cleo Milano, and John Pastorek were on hand to assist and entertain those purchasing soup. Chef Folse provided a delicious Lenten bisque of spinach, artichoke, and crab.
